The Estate Planning Council of Manatee County is an organization of professional Estate Planners with backgrounds in several disciplines. Our Mission is to assist the community in finding well-qualified professionals and in navigating the estate planning process. We seek to promote a better understanding of the dynamic relationship between the various professions involved in estate planning. Our focus is on holding our members to the highest standards of professionalism and education, thereby ensuring that the public will have access to the highest quality estate planning services. We seek to increase the knowledge of our members, and increase public awareness of the quality services rendered by these members. We are a member of the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils (NAEPC). It is the Mission of the NAEPC to promote the multi-disciplinary approach to estate planning by supporting local estate planning councils and their members and by encouraging the formation of new councils.
  Lakewood Ranch Community Fund

In 2000, the Lakewood Ranch Community Fund was developed to serve the people and interests of the Lakewood Ranch community, and allow donor-allocated funds to stay in our region, serving a variety of charitable interests.

The Fund is set up under the umbrella of the larger Manatee Community Foundation to reduce management costs and allow more assets to remain in the community. A Board of Advisors is responsible for seeking out donations, reviewing grant proposals and distributing funding.
  Manatee Community Foundation
Established in 1998 by a visionary group of civic leaders as a supporting organization of the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, the Manatee Community Foundation is dedicated to serving Manatee's donors and matching their charitable interests with the needs of the Manatee County community.
